Every season is a different valley
The Riebeek Valley changes colour through the year, which is how our three units got their names.
In winter, roughly May to August, the rains turn the wheat fields bright green. It is the season for fires, red wine and quiet tasting rooms. In spring, the vineyards come into leaf and the festival season begins.
Summer is hot and golden. Walk early, spend the afternoon by the pool and enjoy long evenings outside. In autumn the grape harvest fills the farm roads and the vineyards turn copper and yellow.
Each season has its own reasons to come. Many of our guests return to see the valley in a different colour.
